Kim`s fave…”Big Baby.”

my `89 ford. no cruise, manual windows, cassette player, two gas tanks, no a.c. , 5 speed on the floor, homemade box, two out of 4 hubcaps, low milage..a great truck for going to the DQ, sitting on the back with the tailboards removed. doesn`t get much better on a warm summers night. lol

Yal would be right at home here in the south. Gotta keep that truck moving or the mosquitos would eat you up.
April Wine music is just great for having a good day at the Mississippi River!

I lived and worked in Farmington, New Mexico from 1998 – 2002 until I moved back to Canada (Calgary).

Needless to say, if you didn’t have a pickup, they looked at you funny. I am therefore the proud owner of a ’99 3/4 ton Chevy (C/K 2500) long bed with a 7.4 liter (454) engine. Can’t seem to part with it – in near mint condition. I love trucks now!

Now that’s an awesome truck! I own a painting company….have an old 74 chevy with 52,000 actual miles on it…..thought about making it into a flatbed. I love this truck…seriously!!!

I’m surprised it doesnt’ have AC…..would be an easy install but prob don’t need it in Canada. If no AC i’m guessing it’s all vinyl including the floor?

no not really not the floor..but i`ll check to be sure but like most trucks that vintage and make, there`s some for sure. no a c because it`s a basic model. like my dad use to say, less to go wrong and have to fix.

Those old trucks with no AC are easy to work on…..your dad is correct. and since this is a Ford it will run forever!
