Strings and Things neck.

This neck replaced the Fender Tele neck on the Bluesmaster aka TelePaul back in the day. I found this in for sale Texas.

I bet the ST neck is very close to a tele neck. This one appears to be missing a nut.

It is similar for sure..the nut is missing, no biggy. A bone replacement will do the trick.

The neck on my St. Blues is thick…..I’ve never liked it. I’m taking it in for a good tweaking…..will see if it can be shaved down or I’ll replace with a tele neck! I’m also going to have the pick up switch and knobs “flipped” so the knobs are closer.

If you like the feel of a tele neck then that would be a great choice, remember you need to decide on the kind of fretboard you want, my Telepaul is rosewood while most teles are maple, like my blonde Fender Telecaster that I use live a lot. Brian prefers maple on his strats…I like both.

I like the feel of my main guitar which has a rosewood neck. However the maple necks do produce a brighter sound. And also, I like the looks of a well worn maple neck!
