One of a kind? Myles, you have made 4 live albums, the last one was terrif. How do you feel about the them? personally,i prefer a live than a “best of” in terms of sales,do lives do well?
August 11, 2013 at 9:23 am
my fave is one for the road. i also prefer live over rehashing tunes on greatest hits packages.
August 10, 2013 at 10:13 pm
That would be great , would like to see it…cheers !

Agreed,Live rules!!One for the road 1984,had lots of stories behind it,last a.w,album, the boys were askin about the bands greulling tour schedule of the late 70,s and 80,s,So Myles, you feel crappy, sick, etc, your on tour,do you.1,give the vocals to Brian,2,cancel show,or 3,lip synch, just kidding, must have been tough, you guys played lots of shows.Allways respected the April Wine work ethic, you folks were true pros!!!

Myles,Paul McCartney,71 yrs young,he,s filthy rich, has all the Hoffner bass guitars anyone could ever need,is playing at Winnipeg and Regina, any thoughts…….
August 13, 2013 at 9:20 am
he loves to sing n play and it helps keeps him young i sure..it`s not always about money and in his case, that`s very clear.

Great work ethic indeed! Not many musicians touring like they do at their age…..I’ve nothing but total respect for them!
August 11, 2013 at 10:59 pm
One for the road is one of the best live performances you’ll ever hear IMO…and it sounded awesome blaring through the pioneer speakers in my old malibu back in day.lol. I was fortunate enough to see the band perform in 84 also… they were terrific !

Myles, a question if I may…..do you smoke cigars?
August 13, 2013 at 9:18 am
i do not. there was a time but i wasn`t that keen on them really. my first trip to cuba brought back a box of monte cristos and gave most away. i stopped smoking cigarettes in 2008. best thing i ever did for myself.

New song Myles?
August 13, 2013 at 3:35 pm
not sure of the question. if your asking if i have new finished songs, the answer is yes!
August 13, 2013 at 9:04 pm
Myles….good for you! Never did cigarettes here but I do enjoy a cigar or two on the weekend. Cubans aren’t legal here and years ago I would drive down and walk across into Mexico to smoke them. Back to live albums, the 2003 is my fave though I have a soft spot for the ’74 recording.

August 14, 2013 at 1:39 pm
Anybody remember a poster back in the 70’s……two buzzards sitting in a tree and one says “Patience my ass, I’m going to kill something”……my favorite poster! 🙂 LOL!!

That cigar box guitar in the picture above happens to belong to me, I got it from Darren Brown of DB Custom Guitars from Canning, Nova Scotia….as one might expect I play rock n blues (The Terry Whalen Band – check us out). That guitar has it all, vibe, grit and all the mojo one would ever need…. I love it and let me tell you it turns a lot of heads. Myles i can’t wait to see and hear yours!
