We worked with Naz several times in the late 70`s early 80`s and we had a ball together. I can`t help but think that everyone that came into contact with these lads had a ball.
Dan has one of the greatest voices in rock. Every night on tour I`d stand side stage and watch him sing Love Hurts. Incredible!
The only advice he ever gave me was “don`t go on stage without a shirt again.” LOL
The band was in the middle of their version of Cocaine and I walked across the stage wearing nothing but a bathrobe, reading a newspaper! GREAT FUN.
We had many many laughs together. I hope Danny enjoys his retirement. 🙂

Way cool Myles, bands like Nazareth, and others of the 60,s and 70,s,when radio ruled, you and your friends knew right away who you were listening to by the lead vocals, sometimes when I listen to Kasey Kasem on Sat. here in Ottawa,my goodness what great music, and great memories, stories like these makes me remember some very happy times,Thanks Myles.

I bought the “Hair of the Dog” album since I really like that title track. It remains a favorite of mine to this day.

It’s too bad Dan had to retire but you got to take care of yourself.
