Jim was a Fender P. player. He played a Rickenbacker for a while because of his admiration of McCartney but he only had a few basses in all the time I knew him and they were Fender. Years ago Jim gave me a cool Fender Special P. bass that I still have.

I noticed on Jim’s blue bass he had a sticker remembering the POW/MIAs. I’m glad he honored them with that sticker.

Dave M…..I’ve noticed that as well and always wondered what his connection was. Possibly his father in WWII or a relative in Vietnam?
